Redssen Zipped Duvet Cover: Why It Looks Like Only 2 Sides Zip
If you’ve just received your Redssen zipped duvet cover and it looks like it only zips on two sides — you’re not alone.
This is one of the most common questions we receive from customers using our 3-sided zip duvet cover for the first time.
The good news is: there is usually nothing wrong with your duvet cover. The zip is simply designed to be discreet and comfortable.
A Real 3-Sided Zip Design
All Redssen zipped duvet covers are designed with a continuous 3-sided zip that runs around three edges of the duvet cover.
However, the side zips are intentionally designed to sit slightly inside the seam. This keeps the zip more discreet, softer to the touch, and more comfortable while sleeping.
Because of this, your 3-sided zip duvet cover may look like it only has a zip on two sides when it is fully closed.

How to Find the Zip on Your Redssen Duvet Cover
- Lay your Redssen zipped duvet cover completely flat on the bed.
- Locate the small Redssen label on the right-hand side, slightly above the bottom corner.
- Near this area, you should find two small zipper heads.
- Follow the zip track from there — it runs continuously around three sides of the cover.
Once the cover is fully opened and laid flat, the full 3 sides zip duvet cover design becomes much easier to see.
Why Redssen Uses a Hidden Zip Design
The Redssen zipped duvet cover is designed for comfort as well as convenience.
- No bulky zip near your face
- A cleaner and more premium finish
- A smoother sleeping experience
- Easy duvet changing with a wide 3-sided opening
The zip is less visible by design — it is not missing.
Still Unsure?
If your duvet cover looks like it only has two zipped sides, try opening it fully from the bottom area and follow the zip track around the cover.
